Climate Change – The Opportunities and Risks for Your Business

Tue 2nd March 2021 - Tue 2nd March 2021, Online

Climate change is an ever–increasing priority for governments, businesses and individuals alike. Businesses are under substantial pressure to address this issue, by reducing their energy generation from fossil fuels or by being more efficient in the use of our ever depleting resources.

The 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) will be hosted in Glasgow on 1 – 12 November 2021 and will bring together heads of state, climate experts and campaigners to agree coordinated action to tackle climate breakdown. As the UK is seen at the forefront of climate action on the international scene, Northern Ireland also has its part to play.

As the world looks to move towards an efficient carbon–neutral future we are constantly being made aware of the impact of climate change. But what will it mean for business today and in the future? What can we do to mitigate negative impacts? What opportunities will arise for economic development?

Join us on Tuesday 02 March to understand what climate change means for Northern Ireland and your business, what opportunities are emerging and what support is locally available to help your business on its journey to tackle this critical issue. Programme
