Covid–19 Climate NI update

Covid–19 Climate NI update 26 August 2020

In the midst of this Covid–19 Crisis, our thoughts are with everyone directly affected by the virus, those working in critical roles and those in isolation. This is an unprecedented change in our lifetime, which has altered the very core of society in just a month or so and is set to continue for the foreseeable future.

Climate NI is continuing to work remotely on the vital issue of climate adaptation throughout this crisis. When the time is right we will be ready to push hard for the vital changes across Northern Ireland which will make such a difference to all of our lives in the next few decades. For now though, stay safe and look after each other. And let’s use the spirit of working together to address this imminent crisis to build to a future of openness and real change for the systemic climate action we so desperately need.
